LHS (Linear Heat Sensing)
LHS cables are heat-sensitive wires used to detect fires or overheating in industrial and commercial environments.
How It Works
- Made of two copper cores separated by a heat-sensitive polymer.
- When the temperature exceeds a threshold, the polymer melts, allowing the conductors to touch, which triggers an alarm.
Applications
- Installed in cable trays, conveyors, storage racks, cooling towers, and power systems.
Benefits
- Flexible, durable, and cost-effective.
- Provides continuous fire detection along its entire length.
